Sebastian Sankar was born in Guyana (then British Guiana or independent Guyana). He is described in the ICPDB as being from British Guyana. No birth date, family background, or early life details are documented in the sources reviewed. He performed as a frontbending contortionist — a specialty in which the body folds forward at the torso rather than into the more common backbend — and combined this with high-level yoga-derived techniques including jointwork, extension, and dislocation.
