Kalle Pikkuharju

Kalle Pikkuharju from Valkeakoski started gymnastics at the age of 9. He continued in Sorin Circus in Tampere at the age of 12. In the circus, he was fascinated by the artistry associated with his hobby. As an acrobat, Kalle is largely self-taught. Despite his young age, Kalle has managed to tour the world's circuses as far as Australia. A couple of years ago, he was awarded the Alexandre Grimailov recognition award by the jury at the biennial international Wiesbaden European Youth Circus festival in Germany. Kalle also performed at the gala of the organized festival.
