Douglas Seidu is a highly skilled and experienced circus artist and dancer, specialized in Acrobatics, Dish bowl spinning ,Fire eating and Contortion.
He performs solo, doubles and group acts with members of the Agy Nyame Acrobat group, with Positive attitude, constructively and open-minded in group work, with a unique style and original visual ideas, his work is stunning, beautiful and full of fun.
Douglas Seidu was born and raised in west African Ghana, and begun his vibrant career training in Bubiashie Accra at the age of 12 .Three years later joined the Tesaah Organization Cultural Ensemble and successfully performed throughout Ghana for over a decade.
In 1998 toured west and east Africa with the Agy Nyame Acrobats Group as Circus Artist, performing Manipulation, Acrobatics, Contortion and African Folk Dance.
Douglas Seidu has constantly traveled the world since and showed his amazing acrobat talent and dancing skills to a multitude of audiences.
These include working in Dubai, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Tunisia, Holland,Belgium Turkey, Cyprus and now Taiwan where he has been based since 2004. His numerous and exquisite skills embrace a wide range of specialties, genres and styles.
Douglas Seidu , is a member from one of the best Ghana acrobat group for many years now, excels and entertains in: Floor Tumbling, Handstands, Yoga Contortion, Dish bowl spinning, Hat juggling, Fire eating, Hoop Diving Fire Act, Ropes, Traditional African Drumming and Dancing, Limbo Fire Act, Group Act ,Circus Skills, and Afro Contemporary Dance.
